Where it Begins

This is a blog in praise of creativity, unconventional thinking and the pursuit of excellence. It draws on personal observations and reflections, media analysis and reporting. Rather than getting dragged down by the crazy stuff that makes me angry and sad -- and, oh boy, there's enough of that -- it will shine a light on the praiseworthy work and creative action that moves the world forward.

Or at least it will try. Hard.

Because In a Perfect World, that's the stuff that keeps us inspired and motivated. And that seems like reason enough to launch a blog.
